7 ways how to increase HDL levels of cholesterol

HDL is the good cholesterol which is been produced by liver and it is considered as an inticative of a healthy heart. HDL levels should be between 40 and 60 mg/dL. Higher the HDL levels are , better. Few changes in lifestyle can increase your HDL levels.

Exercise moderately
20-30 minutes exercise / walk daily would be ideal for increasing HDL.Jogging, aerobics can also be considered.

Avoid Trans fat
Fried food items , cookies , pastries chicken are rich in trans fat, Avoid it.

Fish Oil and Olive oil
Use more Olive oil and fish oil suppliment,Fresh water fishs like Salmons also helps to increase HDL levels

Quit smoking
If you are a smoker, QUIT NOW.

Use Onions
Onions are heart friendly , it increases HDLs.

Vitamin B3
Research had found that Vitamin B3 play a vital role in lowering total colestrol and increase HDL.

Moderate alcohol*
Moderate alcohol consumption can increase your HDL levels.(it is not a must)
