How to avoid or get rid of muscle cramps on legs hands and butts

Muscle cramps are occurred when your muscles are stretched or contracted abnormally. Cramps leads to severe pain on the effected area and it usually heal by its own in few hours or some times days. Luckily sprains and cramps are very responsive to home remedies. There are few precautions which can be taken to avoid muscle cramps.

Regular exercise

Regular exercise can give more blood circulation to your muscles and it avoids cramps. Aerobic exercises are ideal for this.

Drink water
Drinking water will hydrate your body and will help to get rid of muscle cramps. Eight litres of water is suggested per day. It will also lubricate your muscles and helps to keep it more flexible

Minerals and Vitamins
Minerals like  magnesium,  potassium, calcium are needed for our body in adequate quantities. Lack of these minerals will lead to abnormal cramps. If your diet is not sufficient should consider supliments and vitamin tablets.

Massage and Stretch
Massaging the effected area will give a good relief to pain. streching the area is also a good idea to get immidate relief.

Apply Hot or cold
Apply medium hot water or cold water will also give relief from pain. There are many ayurvedic treatments available for cramps and spasms

Tie the area tight
tying the affected area tightly with some elastic belt will also give support to muscles.
