How to manage your hunger with green tea and water

Researchers have found that sipping green tea along with your meals gives you a good full feel. It helps you to eat less. Same is the case with drinking water before the meals. A group of researchers who compared the post-meal affects of green tea with plan water.

The antioxidant rich tea would also moderate the insulin sensitivity or glucose levels, helping to cub diabetes risk. Researchers observed study participants for two hours after a meal, quizzing them on satiety and how full they felt. Participants reported a feeling of more fullness when it was along with green tea. This study also explains that drinking water before meals would help you in shedding weight. Dieters who drink 200 ml of water before meals three times a day lost about five more pounds during a 12 week period than dieters who don’t drink water prior to the meals.

  • First thing in the morning, right after getting out of bed, drink a glass of water. Guzzle it down.
  • Drink another glass slowly while getting dressed and ready for the day.
  • Before eating anything, whether it is a snack or a meal, drink a full glass of water. Not only will this help you ingest the right amount of water, but it can help you to eat less because you will feel fuller.
  • Keep a large water bottle (at least 24 ounces) filled and next to you at all times. Sip on it throughout the day.
