How to relax Muscles – De stress your Body

When there is a feeling of tightness or tension in the body, it is a clear sign that the person is under stress. Often times we may not realize that we are under stress until the muscles in the shoulders, back, etc., are tight and begin to pain. Once you know how to relax muscles, you will be able to prevent tension aggravating into muscle pain. Relaxing the muscles will also have a calming effect on the brain.

While sitting quietly and comfortably, slowly inhale and exhale and close your eyes as you do so. Bend your right hand back at the wrist and briefly hold the tension. Now relax. Now do the same thing with the left hand. Hold the tension and now relax.

With your feet flat on the floor, press down and feel the tension spread up the back of the legs. Now relax.For the right thigh raise your leg up on front of you and feel the tension build. Now relax. Now do the same thing with the left leg and relax.

Stretching just after any activity will not let the lactic acid, which causes the soreness, collect in your muscles. Although the muscles will hurt a little after all the strenuous activities, it will bring long term relief.

Apple cider vinegar also helps in relieving the pain from aching muscles. So, add 2-3 cups of apple cider vinegar to find yourself relieved from the sore muscles.

Have a cup of Green tea should give a good relaxation as it is a good antioxidant.

A massage can help you out a lot to relax your muscles. It’s a good idea to get a massage on your rest day or after a tough training day. Try and find a certified deep tissue masseuse and get yourself a full-body massage. Deep tissue massages are great because it can relax certain muscle fibers that you aren’t able to reach using regular methods such as stretching
