Importance of swimming exercise , benefits of swimming

Swimming exercise can take place in a gym that is equipped with a pool for swimming all year long.  Those who enjoy swimming in their own pool for exercise should consider a health club membership for those days when the weather does not allow for swimming out of doors.  Swimming exercise is one of the best forms of exercise that you can include in your daily schedule.  Swimming works every muscle in the body and many people find it enjoyable and something to look forward to every day.  Swimming exercise is excellent for overall fitness.  Aerobic endurance, power, strength, and flexibility are all enhanced by swimming exercise.  Basic swimming exercise stroke mechanics will prohibit you from increasing your respiratory rate (except during backstroke).  Bicep curls, bench presses and reverse fly’s may appear to work the muscles you use for swimming, but not in the same way you will use them in the water.  Most of you would be performing swimming exercise regularly.  Some might be doing it just as a hobby while others might be doing it considering the health benefits of swimming.

Water aerobics is another way that swimming can be incorporated into an exercise routine that anyone can do for some fun and strength training for the body.  Lap Swimming – This is a common form of swimming exercise.  Lap swimming can be done using different strokes and is an option for fitness exercise.  Swim sessions may be closely monitored and are safe.   Using various swimming strokes can allow you to focus on particular muscles in your body.  There are some swimming strokes that will use every muscle and these are some of the most intense workouts that you will ever have.   Swimming exercise  helps you maintain joint flexibility, strengthen and tone muscles, and increases endurance.  Water and  pool exercises  combine every element of fitness, cardio respiratory endurance, muscular strength, muscular endurance and flexibility.
