How many of us know that you don’t need expensive exercise equipments to burn your calories but just a staircase is needed. You can easily burn more than 150 calories by using staircase. If you want to burn more, you may just need to use your dumbbells along with staircase.

You can do a power walk down the stairs between intervals to keep your heart rate elevated.

Types of Stair case exercises

Warm up by repeatedly walking up and down one flight of stairs, maintain a steady pace.
Stand facing stairs. Step right foot on the right side of first step. Push off of right foot and step left foot to the left side of next step. continue up, alternating sides.

Facing the stairs, hop up with both feet and land in a squat . Hold for 2 counts, then jump up to next step.

Stand with left side facing stairs , left foot on first step. Step right foot in fround of left onto second step. Reapeat . For a bigger challenge, try two steps at a time.

Step up two steps with right leg. bending knee 90 degrees into a lunge, bring hands down to touch step in front of you, stand and repead with left leg.

Power walk up and down the stairs as fast as you can.
